Purpose of this document is to elaborate possible actions that will be taken by CETOS.io while predicting another double increase in the RAM price.
For anyone who doesn’t know, EOS airdrop is not as free as advertised. Transferring tokens costs money. By the time of writing this document, it costs more than $10,000 USD to cover the genesis snapshot. Some people might find it an extremely high price, others may see it as a small business investment, depending on their location. CETOS.io jumped a bullet and took a shot in hope that it may meet a handshake of trust, prove fud-ders looking for instant money wrong, and hopefully be noticed by Block.one for any possible future collaboration. It was done in the name of making this world a better place and improving the current state of the Humanity as well as the Human development. The process failed half-way through creating nothing but a drama for thousands of people.
The problem is something that Dan and his drama kings have invented, possibly while having a quick GitHub chat, that is called RAM. RAM is an invention that is supposed to be returned as people make a token transactions. Tokens that are labeled worthless and useless are treated as such, with all the RAM investment lost. It may be an ingenious idea, in theory, while it is as stupid as returning EOS back to a pool during 3 years of inactivity. What makes it stupid is the RAM trade combined with a 3-day staking. What happened to CETOS.io while unstaking the EOS to buy RAM is that price doubled and the airdrop got cut-off. Another batch of EOS has been un-staked, however, the same is happening again. Predicament is that the price will double while un-staking and that someone is making good money abusing the transparency of EOS, while others are blindly gambling their investments. CETOS.io will put a STOP to this kind of nonsense and will not continue with the airdrop as a sign of a protest.
Some people may say that it is the reason we got a constitution, to make everything a better place for ourselves and thrive in peace and prosperity. Say that to bridge engineers, for example, and after hundreds of people lose their lives due to a bad design, going-back to a drawing-board will not change the loss.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Stop wasting our time, and if you don’t know how to engineer something, then don’t do it.
In order to save 1 thousand people who have already requested a correction, and the second half that did not get their tokens, CETOS.io will be deriving a new model for an airdrop and do the thinking instead. There is a small piece of something within many of us that some call honor, and others call it a conscience. In order not to allow people to be robbed of it by those who did, CETOS.io will respect airdrop distribution and correction but not as planned.
Announcement will be made, but let us see what the RAM idiots will do first.
