In an ongoing effort to help the community review its block producer candidates, EOS Go is requesting the final two check mark criteria for Block Producer Candidate Report #9, to be released on Wednesday May 16, 2018. A BP candidate will be able to receive a maximum of 8 check marks.
We received excellent feedback from the community and BP candidates themselves about these two new criteria, and would like to thank everyone for helping to create a fair and thorough report.
Note - Block Producer Report #8 will release Wednesday May 2 with the usual 6 check mark criteria. As mentioned in Report #7 - EOS Go is now releasing the BP candidate reports every two weeks while voters learn to research candidates on the new Block Producer Portal. BP candidates may submit their own information to the portal and update it anytime for the community.
Deadline for candidates to submit responses and earn the two extra check marks is Tuesday May 15 at 23:59 UTC. Report #9 will be published within 24 hours after deadline. These criteria are the last that will be requested before planned mainnet launch around June 2nd.
Like four of the six original checkmark criteria, these 2 new criteria can only be met if posted to the Steem blockchain (through Steemit.com, Busy.org, etc.). This encourages transparency and integrity by offering a permanent public record of candidate statements. BP candidates - if you need a Steem account, see instructions near the bottom of this post to get one before the report deadline.

Two New Check Mark Criteria:
1 - Block Producer Candidate Roadmap on values, community project timeline, finances, transparency, or any other topic the candidate deems important. Please show the direction and future of your candidacy in a Steem post for the community.
Any roadmap labeled as such by the block producer candidate will earn a check mark - community gauges the effort.
2 - Position on Dividends (The sharing of Block Producer inflation rewards with unaffiliated voters, AKA "vote buying.")
Please describe the block producer candidate's stance on sharing inflation rewards and/or paying dividends to EOS token holders.
- Will the organization offer payment to EOS token voters for any reason, including BP elections AND worker proposals?
- Does the organization have a written policy of no-payment for votes? If so, please provide a link.

2 Pay for the name yourself to secure keys, and you're done! If you don't want to pay, proceed to step three for EOS Go to get you a free account:

4 A) Desired available Steem name.
5 B ) Your Telegram username for private message delivery of keys. You will need to change your keys after receiving them.
