EOS Registration Just Got Super Easy with the Exodus Wallet!

You might already be holding them as ERC-20 tokens on your Exodus ethereum wallet. These tokens are placeholders for real EOS assets that will reside in a proper EOS public address/private key combination when a mainnet blockchain is launched later this year, in June 2018. You need to register your Exodus ethereum address so that the EOS mainnet can “see” any tokens you hold on launch day and credit them to an address that you can access on the new blockchain.
Up until now, this registration process involved exporting your ethereum private key and using it to access MyEtherWallet. We feel that this is a security risk, as you should not have to expose your private key unless it is absolutely necessary. Additionally, the process of registering through MyEtherWallet has many steps and we saw many of you struggle to complete them successfully.
