Codum aims to be a marketplace that allows programmers and developers to contribute and sell code on a git based open market. It is being developed for the EOS blockchain by a Lithuanian company called UAB Teisingas kodas.
At the time of writing this post, I have been unable to contact any of the developers. So I cannot say with certainty that the project is actively being developed. But the concept is solid.
#edit: I have made contact, and this project is indeed still ACTIVE!
Codum will be similar to github. You will be able to collaborate with developers from all over the world. You will be able to buy or sell code and completed apps directly from the platform. As well as manage and communicate with your team members in a live space. However, unlike github, Codum will function completely on a blockchain. It will be monetized by smart contracts. Meaning you will be able to earn in much the same way as you earn on steem.
If this project does not get developed, it would be a good idea for someone else to take it up instead. github is cool and all, but it is not blockchain based, and we all know that blockchains are the future.
@beanz will be interviewing the developer of this project.
Sunday, live, at 7:30 PM UCT.
