AMD is currently on a bull rise, and for good reason. They are the only company in the world that is producing both high-end GPU's and high-end CPU's, but they haven't been relevant in over a decade!
NVIDIA always came out with better GPU's and Intel with better CPU's.
This has been changed this year.
With the launch of Ryzen, AMD was able to wipe the table with Intel, offering a competitive chip that is better at some aspects, but for around 2/3 the price. Their launch of Epyc two days ago reintroduced AMD to the server market. They've basically build a product that gives around 90% more value to the datacenters, than what Intel currently provides. Intel currently sits on 98% of the datacenter market, which is a market worth around 40 billion dollars. The market cap of AMD is currently 4.27 billion dollars. If they can capitalize just 10-15% of the datacenter market (an trust me, they will), their revenue will double. And this doesn't take Ryzen and Vega (which is to launch in less than a week) into account!
