Let It Roll, Etheroll That is!
Over the weekend I tried to test out this new service called Etheroll Dice, but unfortunatlely the site was down. I was pretty disappointed since I recently not only recently start playing, but I also purchased some Dice tokens. So seeing that the site was down obviously translates to less income, which means less of a dividend payout for any of the Dice token holders come August 7, 2017. I am not too worried because the site went down to prepare for a massive influx of new players, and is now back up and running.
I recently blogged about Etheroll Dice Here and Here explaining some of the details on how the game works as well as why I think placing some of your Ethereum here would not be a bad idea. And when I say here I mean the Dice token and not taking your chances on the "roll of the dice."
And yet that is exactly what I did. I took a chance on the Etheroll Dice, as I see many others have. In fact, the closest competitor, iDice has nowhere near as many players or bank roll and even less trading volume on the exchanges. It does not look good for idice, but Etheroll Dice on the other hand looks like it is loading up and getting ready for lift off. It has already launched once after its ICO, and I believe it is looking to go higher this next go around.
I say this because I see how much has already been gambled on the Etheroll Dice site, $21.5 Million +, and traded at the exchanges, at around $400,000 traded daily. This has given Etheroll a market cap. of over $30 Million, and after the first ever dividend/profit sharing disbursement to all Dice token holders takes place, I imagine the news and hype over that will definitely helps push the price up on this token. When looking at the charts for Dice showing bankroll and usage, we see steady growth of the bankroll. We also see a steady amount of players, with the exception of this weekend with the site being down. So with an average of around 40 or so players peaking at around 100 players, and $21 Million+ played, the current Profit is about 700 Ethereum. Whatever the final tally is, it will be divided by all the Dice token holders who make their claims.
The exciting part for me is thinking of the future possibilities for this token. If the August 7, 2017 disbursement goes well, the media and news hype around it should not only help the price but it will most likely draw players to the Etheroll Dice site as well. And for me, this is where the good stuff is. Should daily average players go from 40 to 400 and the peak high of players go from 100 to 1000 players, then the amount played should jump to somewhere around $210 Million. That should make the $5 Dollar price of Etheroll Dice jump to $50 by this logic, but since I tend to be a pessimist, I will cut these numbers in half leaving us with a $25 price for Etheroll Dice should all the stars align in the near future. Others have shown how Etheroll Dice could go over the $100 mark but for now, I will stick with the lower number.
I have also been playing Etheroll Dice and have made a slight profit. There are some that are just making bank playing this game. See here the Top Daily Players and how much they have won. I am just a small time player, using it more for testing purposes than to make a living. It can be addicting though, so those with compulsive behaviors, you might not want to delve into it. If you see the picture below, it shows that I have played over 9 Eth's worth to only gain a little over 1/2 an Ether. It actually comes out to a profit of just under 7% but remember, this is in the short term. In the long run, the house has the edge and always wins so maybe take your chance with the Dice token with a much better chance of success and return than with the Dice roll. If you do both, then you will definitely be helping to make the Good Times Roll!!

ps. As usual, this is not investing advice, and I do hold Dice and other cryptos.
