Hey everyone! Welcome to a Clive's English corner post!
English learners usually struggle to tell these adjectives apart. For instance, it is quite common for ESL learners to say
"This is bored" when they actually mean "This is boring".
However, it is quite simple to differentiate them if you break them down and learn their proper use.
Use adjectives that end with "ed" to describe the current state of an object or the feeling you or somebody else is experiencing. For example, "I'm so excited about this trip".
Use "ing" adjectives when you want to talk about a thing or individual that induces you or something to be in a certain state. I.e, "It is so tiring to travel for such long hours."
If you want further examples and a more thorough explanation, please check the embedded Dtube video! I hope this helps you in your English learning journey.

Please don't hesitate to shoot me any questions about this or other topics in the comments section. I'll get to them as soon as I can.
