Staff Reporter: Elections to the Bukka, Hasadah and Raipur Union Parishads are held today in Chuadanga Alamdanga Nagda and Aalhas and Jiban Nagar. Law enforcement agencies have taken extensive security measures in the light of elections. Election ballot papers and various election materials have been sent to 45 polling stations on Wednesday. To conduct the elections fairly, the Election Commission will be responsible for judicial magistrates and executive magistrates. Today, from 8am to 4pm till Thursday 5 61 candidates will vote for the polling of 136 voters.
Meanwhile, on March 27, at around 9 am, the ALH leader Abdul Malek, district president of Aillhas Union Parishad, ordered the arrest of Raju Ahmed Pajero Zip, he was blocked and released after 15 minutes. Therefore, the Secretary of the Election Commission has informed the District Election Officer in writing to take necessary measures for the purpose of conducting the elections fairly.
On the other hand, on Wednesday, the Independent Chairman candidate of the Aalhas Union Parishad Minhaj Uddin Biswas filed a written petition to the District Election Officer for claiming special security at four more risk centers. The center four were Khasabagunda, Aillhas and Harokandi Government Primary School and the Hussainpur Temporary Brac School Center. As Judicial Magistrate, senior judicial magistrate of Alamdanga upazila Judicial magistrate Abdul Halim and Jibonnagar Upazila. Mustafizur Rahman will perform the duties.
Fakrul Islam as executive magistrate will be acting as executive magistrate of Sundra Ranjan Das Alamdanga Nagda and Aalhas UP and Jivanagar's Curved, Hasadah and Raipur. Sagar Ahmed will be officiating as an executive magistrate of Nagda UP and iftar Arafat and Zillur Ahmed in Aalhas UP. Papia Akter as Executive Magistrate in Curved UP, Chowdhury Mustafizur Rahman in Hasadha UP and Fakhrul Islam in Raipur UP.
Of the 45 polling centers in the UP elections, 18 will be 108 in the risky center, 5 in the low-risk center, 5 to 20 people, and 5 in the important centers, 115 will total the total of 243 police. There will be 8 to 120 police personnel in 15 mobile teams. In the 15 striking force, 7 will be 105. Ansar members will be responsible for 177 out of 765 people in 17 polling centers in every polling station. BGB members will be 120 and RAB will be there.
In the election of Nagdah UP, the candidates are contesting for the post of chairman of the post of Mokhlasur Rahman Joardder (head of rice), Abul Kalam Azad (boat), Jahangir Alam (Gulap flower), Abul Hossain (motor cycle) and Daruss Salam (pineapple). Alamgir Hossain, another candidate, withdrew from the election. In Islahsha UP, Chairman Abdul Wahab (head of rice), Abdul Malek (boat), Rakibul Hasan (Pineapple) and Minaj Uddin Biswas (Chashma) are competing in the symbol. In the curved UP chairmen, Abul Kashem Munshi (head of rice), Abdul Kader chief (boat) and Hafizur Rahman (motorcycle) are competing for the post. Hasadha UP candidate Kamal Uddin Siddiqi (Rice Shees), Rabiul Islam (Boat), Sirajul Haque (Pineapple) and Soharaf Biswas (Chashma) are competing for the post. In the Raipur unit, Abdur Rashid Shah (pineapple), Tahajjat ??Hossain (boat), Motiar Rahman (rice ear) and Mohammad Ali (motor cycle) are competing for the post. Besides, 52 candidates in 15 reserved members and 200 candidates in 45 general posts are contesting.
Chuadanga District Election Officer Raju Ahmed said that the Secretary of the Election Commission has been notified in writing in the light of the election of the Aillhas Union Parishad and necessary steps were taken to ensure the smooth conduct of elections.
