We haven't seen a single snow flake this season and it hadn't rained a drop for two months until yesterday, but vegetation is getting ready for springtime, stimulated by the mild temperatures and the daytime sun.
That of course will be bad if winter decides to return, as it's likely to happen.
During this weekend I discovered some snowdrops in our garden, a few of them already blooming.
That, before the rain, so you can see the cracks in the ground already from the lack of water.
But snowdrops didn't seem to care. I also learned something about them today. That they can come out in January. I thought they only come out at the end of February and this was an anomaly due to weather.
