Words of Wisdoms: If you have goals that you haven't achieved, do not despair.
You have achieved something else: the joy of setting your own goals, the knowledge and growth gained and the exhilaration you feel after taking risks.
Do not give up instead persist. MoMoGrOw

My thoughts
Goals written down on paper are just nice ideas or wishes. It is commendable when anyone has a dream and makes it actionable in order to achieve it. If unfortunately the goals are not achieved one might become dismayed. However, there is a lot of merit even when the outcome is unfavorable.
The start is always nerve-wracking as taking risks does bring one out of their comfort zone. The lessons learnt during the process will be priceless! Inevitably you will become wiser and thus have grown. You will become a different person.
These attributes are valuable and should be beneficial for continuing or starting again. If you believe in the goals you set - the key is to persevere. Do not forget that life is a journey and even if challenges occur or your goals are not achieved you will not know if you would be successful at the next attempt - if you do not continue to try.
