A bond that defies logic,
Is what we call love.
Dangled in front of you,
quite easy to reach out to grasp.
It gobbles up sacrificies,
To churn out a lasting lifetime of happiness.
Darting eyes,
Linger a while longer.
An upward tilt
on the freezing ice of happiness.
Autumn has passed by
Now winter pokes a needle.
A fluttering mass of hope,
That's strenuously beyond grasp.
But clasp I must,
With my last breath,
For that dream is my fire for every cold winter.
