It was an important name in the revival of culture and literature in Spain by producing various magazines. La Revista de Occidente is the most famous of these magazines. Gasset, who left Spain after a civil war, lived first in France and then in Argentina.
He died in Madrid in 1955. According to Camus, this Spanish philosopher would like to pay attention to "perhaps the greatest European writer after Nietzsche".
