ေခါင္းေလွ်ာ္ရည္ဆိုသည္မွာ တေရာ္ႏွင့္ ကင္ပြန္းသီးတို႔ျဖင့္ ေရာထားေသာအရည္ျဖစ္၏။ တေရာ္ဆိုသည္မွာ သစ္ပင္တစ္မ်ိဳး၏ အေခါက္ျဖစ္၍ ထုၿပီးေရစိမ္ပါက ခြၽဲပစ္ေန၏။ ကင္ပြန္းသီးမွာ Soapnut ေခၚ အပင္မွ အသီးျဖစ္၏။ ယင္းအသီးကိုျပဳတ္၍ တေရာ္ေရႏွင့္ေရာထားသည့္ ေခါင္းေလွ်ာ္ရည္ ျဖစ္သည္။ ျမန္မာ့႐ိုးရာေခါင္းေလ်ွာ္ရည္မွ အနံ႔တစ္မ်ိဳးရသည္။ ဆံပင္သန္၍ ဦးေခါင္းအေရ စိမ္းစိုသန္မာသည္ဟု ျမန္မာတို႔က ယူဆၾကသည္။

ကေလးမ်ားအတြက္လည္း ေရႊလက္ေကာက္၊ ေရႊေျခက်ဳင္း၊ ေရႊဆြဲႀကိဳး စသည့္တို႔ကို မိမိတို႔တတ္ႏိုင္သလို မိဘမ်ားက ျပဳလုပ္ထား၏။ ကေလးအတြက္ အဝတ္အစားသစ္မ်ားလည္း ဝတ္ဆင္ေပးထား၏။ အခမ္းအနားစလွ်င္ ကန္ေတာ့ပြဲမ်ားႏွင့္ ပထမဘုရားကန္ေတာ့၏။ မိဘအစ္ကိုေမာင္ႏွမမ်ားက ကေလးအစား ကန္ေတာ့ေပးရသည္။ ထို႔ေနာက္ မိဘမ်ားကို ကန္ေတာ့၏။ ကေလးအစား ငယ္ရြယ္သူတို႔က မိဘႏွစ္ပါးက္ို ကန္ေတာ့သည္။

ထို႔ေနာက္ ကေလးကို ေရခ်ိဳးေပး၏။ ထို႔ေနာက္ ေမြးကတည္းက ပါလာေသာ ဆံပင္ကို ရိတ္ေပးသည္။ ထ္ို႔ေနာက္ ကေလးအား အဝတ္ျဖဴအသန္႔ျဖင့္သုတ္ကာ အဝတ္အစားသစ္မ်ားလည္း ဆင္ယင္ေပး၏။ ၿပီးမွ ေရႊ၊ ေငြလက္ေကာက္၊ ဆြဲႀကိဳးမ်ား ဆင္ျမန္းေပးၾကသည္။ ၿပီးမွ မိခင္က ကေလးကို ေပြ႔ခ်ီကာ ထမင္းကို ဝါး၍ခြံ႔၏။ ထမင္းခြံ႔ျခင္းျဖင့္ ထမင္းခြံ႔ မဂၤလာၿပီးေျမာက္သည္။ ထမင္းစားၿပီးေသာ ကေလးကို အသစ္ျပဳလုပ္ထားေသာ ပုခက္တြင္ထည့္၍ လႊဲသိမ္ျခင္းျဖင့္ ပုခက္တင္ မဂၤလာလည္း ၿပီးေျမာက္သည္။
