The overall reactions from the internet and the community as a whole is a mixed bag. Some liked it and some despise it. This leaves me puzzled. will the miners be holding on to the old chain? If it succeeds with it's goals though i think it will trigger another eth bull run *crossed fingers. But if not, this will be the demise of ethereum as a blockchain platform i suppose.
