The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA), announced the appointment of Ron Resnick as its first Executive Director today. Resnick will host an EEA event during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland on January 23, 2018.In the press release , Julio Faura, chairman of the board, EEA said,
“EEA’s explosive growth in less than a year has mirrored many organizations’ increasing interest in and deployment of enterprise blockchains. Ron has the experience and background to guide EEA through this period of rapid growth and expansion.”
Ron Resnick is a business development professional with over 25 years of experience growing high technology businesses and their ecosystems. He was instrumental in the successful rollout of 4G wireless broadband as President and Chairman of the Board of the WiMAX Forum.“4G wireless broadband changed the world. We believe blockchains will have a similar impact on society. Ron’s task as our first Executive Director is to build-out the organization, engage with members and foster the continued development of technical content,” said Julio Faura. Before joining EEA, he led the AirFuel Alliance as its President and Chairman as well as spent a decade at Intel in senior positions in capital investment and business development.
“My focus is to drive the further development of Ethereum-based technology best practices, open standards and open-source reference architectures to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology,” said Resnick.
