✅ Gas Fee Sponsorship – No more mandatory ETH payments; stablecoins like USDC and DAI will be accepted.

✅ Improved Security – Introduction of Verkle Trees and the PeerDAS system to make the network more efficient and resilient
For those unfamiliar with these technologies:
🔹 Verkle Trees are an advanced data structure that allows Ethereum nodes to reduce the amount of stored data while maintaining their ability to validate blocks. Unlike Merkle Trees, Verkle Trees store more compact proofs, making node synchronization easier. Validators can operate without storing the entire blockchain state, reducing hardware requirements and improving decentralization. Plus, they enable lighter block verification, accelerating transaction processing.
🔹 PeerDAS (Peer Data Availability Sampling) is a mechanism that lets Ethereum nodes verify data availability without storing it entirely. ✅ Improved Scalability—Nodes can ensure that data is accessible without downloading it in full ✅ Lower Costs – Reduced storage needs mean lower operational costs for validators.
✅ Stronger Security – Ensures transaction data remains available to all network participants, enhancing reliability
