The "Seven Summits" are the highest peaks in each of the seven continents. To summit all the the seven peaks is one of the challenges that many mountaineers work towards and as more and more of them join the "7 summits Club", the bar is raised through other records. One such challenge is the shortest time to complete all the summits and recently, a record of 126 days was broken by an Australian Climber Steve Plain. His final climb was Mount Everest - he reached the summit on 14 May 2018 to set a new record of 117 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes.
Congrats to Steve Plain - no mean feat, by any measure!
