One thing that makes my work in Excel faster is due to Options I selected in my Settings.
This article is designated to help us navigate Excel Settings and discover what the options do.
You can access your Settings by going to
File -> Options
A pop-up dialog box will show the General Settings.
1. General
These are my settings and you can copy them if you want to.

✔️ Enable Live Preview
this will help you see the changes while hovering your mouse. you can try to check this when you are trying to select a font.

If you don't want to copy all, here are the things I suggest you do:
✔️ Disable undo for large PivotTable refresh operations to reduce refresh time
this will prevent your excel file Not Responding , hangs, freeze
4. Proofing
I personally don't use Proofing frequently so I will not recommend settings here.

✔️ Save AutoRecover information every
this saved me a lot from power surge and accidentally closing file without saving.

✔️ After pressing Enter, move selection
this helps me save time when entering large sets of data
✔️ Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop
✔️ Allow editing directly in cells

Here you can add or delete Ribbon Tabs.

These are the buttons you see at the top left corner of your workbook. Just above the File and Home tab.
