I think btc price will tank after split.
(But this all Depends how many people are lined up to snatch up cheap BTC on the buy wall!)I think every altcoin price will tank after the split following BTC intern arbitrage, just like in the month of July, but way more caotic
It is very probable to me that whales will first play pump n dump with many altcoins. BTC will be destroyed so theres a high chance eth, ltc, ripple may climb to the 1st place by instants. there may be these high rushes. and then whales may just forfeit their cash. it could mean a massacre because of panic selling.
even if there is no big league pump n dump. whales will have the last word: they will choose to keep btc on first place or just pick another altcoin to take the kings place.
All in all. This is my assetment of the current situation in mere hours before the BTC fork does happen:
BCC is leeching hard off of Bitcoin's legacy and I've never seen an ICO selling for $500 before reaching the market.
Unless segwit implementation totally fails or backfires. That is the fear that led to BCC. BTC devs have been very vitriolic and secretive everytime someone brings it up, but even though segwit does address a few vulns like Merkle, it also is open to a few others.
