It has been a while since the last Weekly Wrap-Up and this one will make up for the missed wrap up of last week.
I has been a couple weeks of crypto "hell" for those that were / are blocked from access to their resources due to exchanges halting HIVE transactions. More details are stated in the news section.
Doing this article has made me realize how passionate some are about Exode. It takes an effort and time to create these postings. It also takes a bit of creativity to put down something other players will want to hear about, every week.

Here is the reveal of the Beta pack pre-release offering. As well some details of the Achean Gang contract. Which I must say is going to add some interesting twists to game play and card use.

In the discord development-log channel Elindos dropped some details about the up and coming releases of Alpha development. Discord quote
Evacuation Missions
This feature will give more fun and utility to your cards while going further and deeper in theme and lore of 2325!
See a server mission list,
Check missions with special slots for ships and characters with specific traits,
Place the cards if you have them (the ones not locked to current games),
Choose an available strategy for this slot,
Estimate your success in this mission,
Then enjoy mission resolution and leaderboards!
First Evacuation Missions will be with experience and flavor rewards, but currency rewards will happen too later.

Other than that, Elindos is trying to ensure that, everyone that has been granted pre-release purchases, has a chance to do it. Normally there would be no issues with the time frames given but huge delays have been seen by many in the community with HIVE transfers being halted.

This IMO is an essential part of new colony life. From what is indicated this unit will keep your crew alive if what it provides is lacking on your planet. I am particularly interested in seeing the Energy generation. I do now know of many colony installations that do NOT require energy. A good use of a ship slot I think.
