After Equifax's major goof with data security Experian is swooping in for profits. Watching the Packers on network TV yesterday, i noticed Experian had a commercial about scam security and even mentioned "dark web" threats that may be out there. I don't watch hardly any network T.V., but first time I heard dark web mentioned. So for $19.99/month you can pay Experian to protect you from the bad guys. Right, better cross your fingers. Nothing like one corporation trying to take advantage of another corporations misfortunes.
First of all Equifax should be shutdown. The only function they supposedly had was to protect and assess people's credit and personal information, and they failed epicly! Shut them down! Second of all, all this "credit score" hoopla is just another way for the financial system to assess, manipulate, and target the average consumer. If you think any of these mega credit companies can protect you or really put your interests first, you might want to think again. Giving money to Experian would be like flushing it down the toilet. In the credit industry when you lose they win and if you think you win, sorry, they still actually win.
