Have you ever been searching the Internet for information about which product you should buy? Maybe you compare the different Amazon Kindle reading boards to find out which one to buy, or maybe you are considering buying an Xbox or a Playstation. There are lots of things we might compare before buying, and such thing worth comparing as well are VPN providers.
I have just published a quite thorough article comparing the VPN services of NordVPN and ExpressVPN. I spent way more time writing the article than first planned, but if I first compared the services, I felt it in place to let the article contain as much interesting and important information as possible. Not only is this about comparing the prices of both VPN providers, but to most people it is also important to find out why you actually buy the VPN service in the first place.
If you purchase a VPN to stay safe and encrypted online, both ExpressVPN and NordVPN provide you with 256-bit encryption, but NordVPN also includes services search as VPN over TOR and Double VPN, services which can be really useful if you are paranoid, or really need to stay hidden online. These are useful services, so if security and anonymity is of the essence, you might want to go for NordVPN instead of ExpressVPN.
But, if you are more interested in unblocking streaming services online, it might be that you will be better off with ExpressVPN, at least in some cases. Based on my results, it can be seen that ExpressVPN often work better with streaming sites than NordVPN, but there are examples in which NordVPN works with a service (when ExpressVPN doesn't - read SonyLIV in India, for example).
Maybe the most important thing for many of us is the price. And yes, there is a major price difference between ExpressVPN and NordVPN, at least if you want to buy a subscription for 12 months or more. Because, if that is you, then you can actually get 24 months or 36 months of NordVPN for almost the same price you would get 12 months of ExpressVPN. Well, we can give you a bonus of 3 months with ExpressVPN if you click the link in the article, but still - that is still only 15 months compared to the 24 or 36 months you get with NordVPN. So, if money is of the essence and you want to use the VPN connection for a longer period of time, you should probably go for NordVPN.
But, why read on here? Go and check the full comparison of ExpressVPN and NordVPN and make a decision for yourself!
If you have tested any of the services and want to share your thoughts, write a comment. I would love to hear from you.
