This article sets out the investor side argument that decentralised platforms will replace Facebook, Google etc.
It makes an important distinction between what is bad for the world (censorship, privacy loss, panopticon etc) and what is bad from an investor perspective.
One thing I don't quite agree with is lumping all the FAANGS in together.
Only some of them rely on a business model of monetising other people's work without paying for it and destroying privacy.
Apple and Netflix don't and Amazon only does to a small extent.
