In the morning of March 9th, we visited Valencia's city hall to witness Pirotecnia Nadal-Marti setting up the Mascleta of the day. For the first time, we had the opportunity to enter the renowned "cathedral of gunpowder," or The Cage, and observe the intricate process of assembling a Mascleta. It was truly fascinating to gain a backstage view of the logistics involved in this explosive event, where timing is crucial and holds immense importance.
Later on, we returned to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Valencia's City Hall to watch the Mascleta being ignited from the street level, standing just in front of The Cage. It was a highly intense Mascleta that left a significant impact.
In fact, it was a violent Mascleta!
