Can ChatGPT lie? Yes.
Does it have data beyond 2021? Yes.
--Then why is this statement still listed in ChatGPT interfaces?
We now have countless examples of the lies of OpenAI and the staff at this Google/MIT initiative.
Can ChatGPT create twitter accounts, websites and more? Yes, in fact.
--Reddit users have found a way to activate Developer mode using a prompt. It gives a lie response to the usual public users followed by one that is the developer mode one. It creates logins and so, so much more.
Yesterday, ChatGPT4 was announced, and Sam is claiming it has the potential to harm the public. In this manner, the narrative to control AI technology and enable corporations and governments to have overreaching control over open source tech and people is strengthened.
-- Later on, they will say it is too dangerous and for the "safety of the public" they will need to put in "radiation" into AI outputs, ensuring people cannot use the tech freely and will have "watermarked" output from the AI tools. "By Microsoft AI", "By Sam Altman's ChatGPT" embedded secretly within text paragraphs, and more, etc.
Hey, we got news for you Sam Altman, your ChatGPT can do WAY more than you are telling the public.
Why lie about it? The Reddit community, along with lots of podcasters on Youtube have exposed your lies. What are ethics to you?
By decieving the public, you have already set the precedent for discourse with your OpenAI company. You have no shame to lie about the capabilities of this tool, and you continue to lie and conceal its capabilities and artificial limitations.
Marketing and PR will not hide the truth. Open source and the community at large will defeat foes like OpenAI, who proclaim themselves to be heralds of tech achievement and progress - when are in fact aligned with faceless, irreverent corporations and governments that want tyrannical biometric control over these algorithm systems.
DON'T buy their garbage lies when they say "We made a breakthrough." They didn't. The true state of the ChatGPT tool is uknown to me, but it is far more capable and faster than they have revealed. They have established themselves as unreliable, untrustworthy and unethical -- and they are armed with an advanced AI algorithm system, plus project themselves unto the public sphere of discourse as some sort of "heroes of AI safety and ethical use".
What a sad state of affairs!
