We took our annual trip to the coast last week.
It hasn't even been a full year since Hurricane Harvey decimated the Texas Coast.
Port Aransas, Tx and Rockport, Tx got the worst of it. There was 5 feet of water in our house there.
Ironically the week we were to leave to go down there a tropical storm dumped 15 inches of rain on Port Aransas flooding the island again. We got 3 inches of flooding in the downstairs. And the pool was full of dead crabs.

Despite the choppy water and windy conditions, we did get to vacation some. But also spent time cleaning up the place.
Slowly but surely life is returning to our little island paradise.
