The seed packets shown in the picture above were purchased a few months ago. The seeds were sold in one package labelled as vegetable seeds. You might wonder if these were costly, but it was not. I got it for a deal price on Meesho, an online platform in India. Meesho is the best friend of lower-income individuals, as most products are affordable compared to Amazon or other similar websites. However, the key is to pick the right product after reading the reviews.
The same product is sold for a cheaper price on Meesho than on Amazon sometimes. So, always check out the prices on various websites before purchasing. Also, it is better to opt for cash on delivery than pay outright. I have had bad experiences with Amazon agents showing the product as delivered when I did not even get it, and I had to ask for refunds after making repeated calls to customer service. So, it is better to opt for cash on delivery if you possibly can to avoid the hassles involved.
Some of the seeds were planted, and we got the produce. Some of the seeds are not suited for our climatic conditions. So, I have not planted those yet. I hope we can do it when the rains stop and the weather is cooler.
Have you ever bought seeds online? How was your experience, and have you benefited from it? To those of you who think that plants cannot be grown inside, there are facilities nowadays to grow plants in pots even inside apartments.
The small plants that can grow inside apartments are cherry tomatoes, basil, herbs, chilies, curry leaf, coriander, and so on. These are easy to grow and can be harvested soon. I hope you will try growing such small plants if you live in an apartment. I will read such posts. Also, please include tips for new gardeners, as it can help a lot.
