I do not know anyone who would say no to "free ways" to get cryptocurrencies. I hope to share my referral links and have more people involved in slowly gaining some satoshi over time. All do not require you to invest anything and I would not recommend you adding (though they seem legit from many reddits, reviews, etc.)! I am all about taking things out to increase my portfolio...
These websites and application are called faucets.. You probably heard of Bitcoin Faucets... Also, I will bring up two sites that little more than faucets that I think are legit..
The questions comes are:

Seems legit but there has been some issues on payout.. I have not made any payout so I can't confirm reviews out there but they seem to be consistent.
Also, it is rarely down and you could "gamble" to increase payout.. They do lotto drawing every time you spin and you get RP for their reward items... The only thing that could be annoying is the Captcha and you do have to go to the site and click the spin button. The payment is always based on the BTC pricing.. The lower the BTC, the higher the payout per roll (which on the image above show .00000022). Past month, I was getting around 17-22 satoshi. Also, you could spin every 1 hour lapse of the last spin..
I do Ripple Coin Faucet - Will provide once the reCAPTCHA works (they had this issue recently and like Freebitco.in).. This one I got the most payout since it is all about Ripple but will update soon (after the site is fixed)

Again, it is based on randomization and varies with the changing price of the coin with the exception of the 1000000 satoshi hit.. What is required? Your public wallet (so they know where to send if you were to withdraw).. One thing you need to worry about is Captcha is annoying at times.. Also, close out any pop-ups (this is the most annoying if any)...
You could apply for faucet every 1 hr from last activity... Only Gripe, it is very slow drip for coins to get to withdraw point... So it might be worth if you have no other option but to wait for drip (I do this while I work on some codes).. Also, they do not tell how long you have to wait and that is annoying. So I just work with freebitco.in and do that first and the others afterward (in one shot)
Lastly, this is probably the best site to accumulate quickly for coins (but still slow)
They are multiple coins and I believe you earn quicker with cheap coins in comparison to bigger coins.. You do need to register..

How to earn.. By completing tasks!
You could do so with offers, surveys, etc.. I do most with install apps I want to try out and watch videos (though it does have a time out limit that you might need to refresh activity on the page)... Payout is based on the price of the coin (cheaper, higher your coin percentage amount; so GRC, I would have much more out).. As you could see each 3 set of commercials watched = .000014 NEO (other times, it was as high as .000018).. Note other activities could giving higher payout rate as watching videos (and commercials) are the one of the lowest on the site
There is a minimum for taking out and varies with the coin... Only gripe, it is still slow for medium to high coins! People have withdraw without issue (though they had an issue with Siacoin recently but gave it back to the accounts since transaction failed)...
Note, I do not do any of the coin mining on any of the sites since I do my own pool mining and probably make a higher payout
