Today is #featheredfriday and our host @keithboone is still on vacation. He asked us to carry on and support each other.
One of my favorite birds is the Blue Jay. A group of them live in the forest behind the house. I love hearing their calls in the mornings.
The Blue Jay is able to mimic the sounds of other birds and humans.
They often sit on the back deck deck ball and are the greatest models for me to photograph.

The blue Jays beautiful colored feathers stand out in the environment.
These two are in the old apple tree in winter. Some apples are still on the tree but have turned brown from the frost.

The Blue jays visit my back deck every day and I leave food out for them especially to help them in the winter.
