I know some of you expect me to be a spoilt brat but hell No! I just hate been rude and I fear I might be too light hearted but most people don't know this because I hardly talk to anyone only my god mother Rosy knows this. Rosy is our chief head maid; I really don't see her as a maid, she had been with us few hours after my birth they say.
Golden Cycle was the best and most expensive British school in Nigeria and more like a political cycle clique. If I had a choice I would go elsewhere but the quality of education here is very impressive. I am the assistant head girl, my last term in school preparing for my final exam Waec. Gosh! I just can't wait to be in the higher institution.
'Hi Chella' Bankole winked at me. Bankole is one of the most popular and pompous guys in school though very brilliant. I once had a crush on him when we were much younger; his parents does drop by in our home when my parents were around once in a while, all efforts were made to make sure we were best friends but I just pulled back making one excuse or the other that I wasn't feeling fine. But I sure did crush on him despite my withdrawal.
Bankole could have been my choice of friend now but his clique and their arrogant attitudes turns me off. He was the brain of the clique ordering them around, they don't have a mind of their own, maybe they needed him for academic excellence; I doubt if he even helps them. He is the head boy of Golden cycle. Let me tell you something we both are on log heads; the competition between us is very clear and vivid. I never wanted to be the head girl, so i pleaded with school to make me the asst head girl instead; Life is so easy why weigh your self down. Even though Bankole still had his eyes on me despite pretending not to care.
