Friendly Golum :) he'll pose for photos with you provided you don't take his fish!
I remembered on my very first day at WETA Digital I was completely overwhelmed with my surroundings, everything was moving at a quick pace. I slowed myself down that day and took this photo of Neytiri, I felt like I was some place special :)

My work desk at Dneg, the hours are very long but worth it.
About young Andrew:
From a young age I was always fascinated by cartoon animation and drawing, I think this stems from the fact that I was so curious about the world around me. Watching movies like Aladdin, Lion King and Jurassic Park mesmerized me :O It made a huge impact on me, and I believed laid the foundation towards my current career path. I’m very passionate about my craft, constantly pursueing ways to improve my animation and artistic side. My ultimate goal is to one day work at Disney or Pixar (I’m still quite a long way off from this goal but hopefully one day :)).
I’d like to share with you guys in an upcoming blog post about how I went from the WORST student in the class, to working on Jungle book and now Thor Ragnarok. My low and high points in my career, and how my mindset absolutely changed after I graduated. Until then, I’ll see you next time!
Hope you have an amazinggggg day and take care!!
