good afternoon my steemers friends, today i will continue to explore the 3 steps drawing method i had introduced in the last post; this time i will choose to draw a singer who influenced me and the whole generation of 90th rock scene with her incredible music,
her song "Zombie" was for me one of the best rock songs of all time, in fact every time i play with my band, we play this song over and over, it is unbelievably simple but yet emotional complex, strong but tender, this contrast created a song which will be remembered for generations; so to honor her i will draw " Dolores O'riordan", may your soul rest in peace.

as always, i start to define the outlines of the face, determine the proportions and the scale of the facial elements like nose, eyes, Dolores had kind of sleepy eyes with small mouth and strong chin, so i will incorporate all these features in the drawing:
as you can see above, the face is horrible :-) not accurate at all , so the next step is to define what is wrong with the sketch, refine the drawing, and get more into details, and the result is :
the final step is to through some shade on the face so it becomes more realistic, i used a rim light on the character's left side to define the highlights and the shadows and used charcoal to create nice midtones for the skin, and the result is:
