So I just got a glock 23 slide and stock barrel with the stock barrel having that interesting polygontal rifling.
So this would be a 40 caliber and the chambering is called 40 Smith & Wesson.
Now I got this with about 50 rounds through it so pretty much brand new and it even comes with additional grip tape on the slide serration so that you can get the very firm grip to rack it.
And with the Zen technologies 9 mm barrel I am already set up with a threaded barrel and as well to 9 mm magazines.
So next on the list would happen to be a 357 sig barrel and as well 40 caliber magazines.
At this point I can shoot the very economical 9mm parabellum round. I can also shoot 40 cal Smith & Wesson as well as 357 sig which that round happens to carry as much energy as a 357 Magnum due to the next down 40 caliber Smith & Wesson casing.
Yep the thing is like a little rifle.
And then hopefully I can track down the 22 TCM barrel for a grand total of four different calibers until I can work out the 22 LR upper receiver assembly and magazines...
That would mean that I can shoot five different calibers out of one pistols...
It is only been recently that I have gotten even interested in glocks thanks to the horrible path this country seems to be taking currently.
However the second amendment and American laws do state that people are able to make their own firearms.
There is an entire subculture around 80% manufactured firearms parts that you can do 20% machining work to end up with a fully functioning firearm receiver.
So because everything is going so crazy I think I should stack up some gear just in case.
I've got a lot of different gear and it only stands to reason that I should put some glock parts and accessories together. And maybe I should also stack up a little bit of ammunition as well.
Well the next part is definitely going to be getting a holster for this thing.
Yep you have to get a holster for your parts!!!!
Well with everybody having so many issues with the United States government and their laws. You should consider 80% home built firearms.
Not only is it extremely rewarding to build something yourself. But going shooting is actually a really fun activity
However with the massive amount of people swarming to become gun owners due to the absolute phenomenal amounts of violence and lack of any police support in the Portland area has made absolutely all of the third generation Glock parts extremely difficult to find.
As well all 80% frame kits and lower receivers and parts kits are now harder to find if you can find them at all.
Before there was people selling glock.parts for cheap and now they are super expensive.
