My name is Dan and this is my first post on steem. And below is why I think I need steem in this day of looming censorship.
Welcome to our permanent record. The first block chain driven social media site. What does that mean to me? Every post, every picture, every link we place here is handcuffed by each hand with the posts before and after. Only you hold the keys to the handcuffs on your posts, so protect them! If somebody tries to censor you that post will be held in place by the posts before and after. Even if those posts directly contradict your posts in content, the bond is unbreakable and from post to post forms a chain where the only way to eliminate one post is to eliminate them all. It's proof that the buddy system works or a chain gang depending how you look at it. :-P
I hope to meet many new buddies here and enjoy the freedom. If any of my block chain example is inaccurate please pass the education.
