Interesting article about how the Dutch are protecting themselves from a sinking land and storm surges. The Dutch approach things in a more nature way than Louisiana, using nature to help instead of fighting it. I've often said the same thing, fresh water diversions and planting trees can go a long way in Louisiana. A good read if you have the time.....
