Seek The Kingdom Of God First.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Matthew:6:33.

The kingdom of God is the supreme domain of God's presence. That same kingdom is within us "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."Luke:17:21.

Jesus asked us to seek first the kingdom, not because it's hidden, but because if we don't, we'll be distracted by the things of this world. Since the kingdom is already within us (believers), seeking it means acknowledging and submitting to the presence of God in our lives as the number one priority, that determine our next action daily.

It's important to understand that for the kingdom of God and God to be established in us, we must consider God first in all things, irrespective of what's at stake.

Wealth, influence, authority, power, wisdom and revelation, among other good things are added to the vessels that carry the project of God's kingdom as the topmost priority.

This is not time to pursue things, but to seek God's presence at all times. In everything about us, God want to be involved and that for our own benefit. Engage in every activities that promote the growth of God's kingdom and carry the gospel to the world, that all may come to Christ.

Let's pray together. Abba Father, thank you for giving us your kingdom. Please forgive us for not seeking your kingdom before now and help us to discard distractions, that we may seek your kingdom and presence in all things. Strengthen us, in Jesus name. Amen.
