The middle of August is passed us. Here we are again at another Thursday performance. Lots of people think it’s weird to perform on a Thursday, but we are a different type of band. No bars and late nights of debauchery. I’m glad.
Like the title says this is a nature center. Schools bring students here to learn about Southern California‘s nature. This nature center has been here for a while. Lots of locals have enjoyed a walk in the nature center’s mini-forest.
The people running this nature center are smart enough to have a music series. They have a summer music series every year. We’ve played many of them.
There will be bugs sucking blood from my hand as a play the bass. It happens. Mosquitoes will probably drink the blood from the back of the drummers legs. I almost hope he farts on it, but that could attract more… or destroy the rest of us.
This stage area wasn’t always here. After they realized the value of summer concerts they stepped up their game. Previously the stage was about the size of a car. People gathered around in the forest. It was kind of intimate and fun. It’s grown. Everyone loves the new stage and seating area.

As you can see from the usual line-up, Steel Parade is a very different sound for the concert series.
Yeah, Long Beach, #SoCal #California is fun.

We sahred some mineral water before starting the performance and then had Ramen afterwards.

This has been a #flashback post. My draft section must be purged. Sometimes I put work into these posts without posting them because they need MORE work. Sometimes the pictures are buried deep within my phone's gallery. It's sad. Lost images for every year drives me crazy. I've recently discovered new methods and these flashback posts are the benefits of patience and screen shots and scrolling and more... thanks again.
