got a bunch of small disks of flour ready for rolling out in a box in the fridge now and i enjoyed every one of the flat breads i made today.
recently i received a care package of cracked red pepper, a years worth of tumeric and some spinach powder.
As much as i love fresh spinach if i don't use it that same day it ends up going bad in the bag from the wetness of the contents. I had considered just blending it all together with some olive oil in a blender and storing that in the fridge, i still may try that at some point.
If i can just pour that into my instant pot lentils and use elsewhere as a glaze maybe inside of flat breads (while pleating them) then maybe that will add extra flavour.
Anyway, today's flat breads, i decided to make them immune system enhanced! :)
I added garlic powder, tumeric, spinach powder (new to me, in the airdrop!), cracked red pepper, salt and boy oh boy were they delicious. I made them with scrambled eggs (as usual) and actually they held together and rolled out much better than expected.
tomorrow i'm considering making up some gram flour (chickpeas) and spinach powder with baking powder to raise up the liquid. I've still not found the perfect "mix" yet for the gram flour because the stuff is weird and hydrophobic like.. .
... once i do thou, it's gonna be chickpea/spinach savory pancakes en masse stored in the fridge for random daily snacking, i'm literally gonna production line those motherfuckers.
have a great day!
wash ya hands,
you filthy animals.
