a. I'm not saying that I haven't been presented with evidence of an ice wall, I'm saying that the mounds of evidence that actually exist refute the existence of an ice wall.
b. Why are you repeating that I am saying it debunks a flat earth when I made no such claim? I did not say the non-existence of the ice wall debunks a flat earth in general, I said it debunks their claims and the accepted model. I said it that way because I UNDERSTAND that it does not.
So, why did you bring that up again? You say you are not into 'bandwagonism', yet you repeated a claim that I did not make twice. That IS 'strawmanism'. Disclaiming one logical fallacy while invoking another is not a virtue.
And yes, there is so much overwhelming evidence for a globe that is it impossible to miss if you bother to look for it. I have provided several very specific observable proofs of the globe that DO debunk any and all flat earth models, right on my Steemit blog alone.
I can provide a list with proofs of close to 2000 observations that prove the globe, most of which are impossible on ANY flat earth model, these observations are such that anyone can make and that JUST a group of us have compiled ourselves from our own observations. Read that again: close to 2000 simple observations that prove the globe that humans have been observing for over 2000 years.
You parrot the platitudes that I am regurgitating from a textbook, when it is actually you who are parroting the flat earth cult talking points. Also, to say that you do not have to prove anything is just scientific illiteracy and shifting the burden of proof (second logical fallacy). No model is a 'default' model, regardless of whether you wish that to be so or not. Also, argument to antiquity is another fallacy. So, you decried one fallacy while actually making that fallacy yourself, and then invoking three more!
EVERY model must be proven on it's own merits and the REASON 99.99999% of humanity believes it's a globe is because it HAS been proven repeatedly and debunked the globe model for over 2000 years now. Regardless of how you feel about that. And flat earth is impossible for dozens upon dozens of reasons that are easily seen by anyone who cares to look.
If you are truly a truth seeker and not a bandwagonist, then you'd actually learn about the history of how we know it's a globe, the observations people made hundreds and even thousands of years before any modern technology, and you'd join an astronomy club and go do some traveling to the southern hemisphere, where all flat earth models become impossible for a variety of reasons.
