I'm not sure I can really write all this out right now. I think this will be one of the rare posts of mine with little description. This is all very raw and I'm trying to keep myself from getting too depressed. In the end the repairs are will be made and I have an instructor lined up for next month.
The front end is disassembled and I have the front fork removed. The fiberglass is mashed and will require some creativity to make a new one.
Both landing gear sheared off at the welds. I will remove the axles from the wheels, pull the control arms off, and hopefully have a master welder fix it for me.
I am a sad panda. @stryeyz took a bunch of pics and videos that I am going to go through and I will do the part 2 post with the bulk of the day's pictures. I was too focused on things then too pissed to take many. The worst part of all this to me is that I was NOT trying to take off, just taxi practice.
Today I try to cope with things. I have to go up to the melon garden and pick all the pumpkins and gourds. The beans need more picked, the greenhouse needs attention, more potatoes need to be dug, and then tonight is our club meeting in Wandermere.
