So there's been these terrible floods on Valencia because of the #DANA making the Turia river to overflow, devastating shops and particular homes alike. Due the absurd and inefficient levels of bureaucracy here, authorities were unable neither to warn the people nor help in a significant way. Many lives have been lost in the way, and the survivors have lost everything.
This only shows that, in the current context, no power will save Valencia and we're left alone with our own means. Realizing this, most people from the Valencian Web3 scene where I am included have started to organize ourselves to give support to those in need. My friend IshtarSpring created this NFT collection whose funds will help the #DANA victims.

As for me, I was lucky enough to live in an unaffected area. I only had to endure a few blackouts and power cuts, but my equipment is safe. So I'm working with a colleague on a PFP collection that will add to the humanitarian aid already being deployed in the disaster area.
