Coffee shops that are not well-known places, but offer a delicious taste, deserve appreciation. Especially for me who doesn't like crowded places to enjoy a delicious cup of warm coffee.
In the past, I've told you about KYIV, a coffee shop as well as a barber, which has special things to make a recommended coffee shop, although it's not as crowded as coffee shops in general in the middle of the city.
There comes a time when we stop looking for places that are popular. We as food connoisseurs just want to enjoy food in peace, and the comforting taste that always brings us back to that place.
There are times when we are tired of looking for something new. We just want to go back to the feeling we once fell in love with. :)
So this time I returned to KYIV Barber and Coffee. This is my second time going to this place. I have put my favorite taste in this place. So I believe that this place will have a dish that will not disappoint me.
Nutella Waffle
I want to drink hot coffee, accompanied by waffles. So I ordered a Nutella waffle, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
I enjoy this super sweet treat, which comes from Nutella. It's delicious, but not my favorite, because my favorite is spicy food lol.
Then, I finally took a sip of warm milk coffee! My heart melted!
Coffee With Aren Sugar / Palm Sugar
I fell in love with “Koffee (Kopi Gula Aren)” which means coffee with Palm Sugar. It's very delicious. A combination of coffee, milk, and most importantly palm sugar.
Palm sugar is different from brown sugar, although it is almost the same color. Palm sugar is more fragrant, also sweeter, and savory.
That's why the coffee served here is so delicious. I really appreciate this beautiful blend. Because it is very difficult to match the exact taste of these ingredients.
I found some coffees in other coffee shops that had a strange taste because the ingredients for coffee, milk, and sugar were not right. Not to mention the quality of the palm sugar or brown sugar used is not good which will bring a strange taste to the tongue.
So, I am very grateful to be able to experience the pleasure of coffee with palm sugar at KYIV. A quiet place, with pleasing lighting on the eyes, as well as an artful design of the place.
One more thing, I like the porcelain cup used. With a classic design that makes drinking coffee even more excited with the beauty of the combination of everything. :)
