Good day or night to you my friends!
Today, I'm going to share what I and my family usually have for breakfast.
In the Philippines, there are some families who have rice and viand for breakfast, but as for my family, we usually have bread, "puto maya", eggs (scrambled, boiled, sunny-side-up) and coffee.
A lot of Filipinos have "pa-init". "Pa-init" means coffee/milo/milk + bread.
A few hours after pa-init, they have breakfast. However, in my family, we have "pa-init" and breakfast in one.
You can see ARASHI running in this picture... heheh He always joins us for breakfast! He might not eat, but he just wants to be sitted with us by the table.
Bread... usually, we have pandesal, but this day we had sandwich loaf.
This is a traditional breakfast or snack in the Philippines called, "puto maya". It is steamed sticky rice. It's actually pefect with hot cocoa. My family sometimes have hot cocoa, but usually just coffee. The puto maya we don't finish at breakfast, we eat during snack time! heheh
Eggs... in this case scrambled eggs! It's best if you mix tomato and onion. But in this picture, I guess only plain one.
This is not a typical part of breakfast, but we had some leftover from our viand last night, so we re-heat and eat it at breakfast. These are meatball with tomato sauce.
Coffee! This coffee is actually mixed with "salabat" or ginger powder. Just perfect to make us awake for the day! heheh...
Banana! My family loves it. So, every meal, we always have banana after. My daughter eats it with her meal like a viand, though.
So, there it is! MY FAMILY'S TYPICAL BREAKFAST!!!
Thank you very much for reading my post today!
See you next time my friends...
