In life, we will always be offended by people around us. This is because we think differently, act differently and were brought up from different backgrounds. The presence of offences is not a justification for grudges. We must not always grudge but we can always forgive and let go,no matter the number of times. God knows it's hurting to be betrayed by those we trust, but He says 'grudge not' and the word of the Almighty God is final.
James5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
It's expedient to understand that we attract judgement to ourselves for grudging, not for being offended. There's no permission to grudge because of the enormity of the offence by others. Thus we must put our hearts in order and avoid condemnation. Are you finding so hard to forgive? Has the offence hurt so much that you don't trust anyone again? Are you afraid of allowing another person to be close to your heart because you have been hurt many times? Today I bring you emotional healing in the name of Jesus. Your pains are over now. Go ahead and love again. Rekindle the fire of trust for the Spirit of God is guiding you to a higher level. You are a success in every endeavor.
Let's pray. Lord Jesus, thank you for forgiving our sins, making us new in you. Please help us to forgive others and let every grudge in our hearts be cast out now, in Jesus' name. Amen. Stay blessed.
