John McAfee is twittering about Humaniq (HMQ) in the spirit of Christmas. As I couldn't sleep I decided to check it out. Their proposition is strong. It reminds me at the book titled: "Fortune at the bottom of the pyramides" written by C.K. Prahalad a well know author on mangement books.
The essence of the book is that there are so many poor people that live of 1$ per day that also have needs and desires. If the Blue Chip companies should focus on that group they could help them and generate some additional revenue.
Unilever developed a soap that would work better in water from a river. Philips created a stove that reduced the toxic gasses compared to cooking on wood. Humaniq is offering banking for the masses at the bottom of the pyramids. Their projections seems legit and if their roll out is succesfully they indeed can find their fortune there.
I bought the coin lets see what happens.
