Schedulers exist for everything. Your social life, your business, your blogging, your marketing.....even your sex life.
I’m not saying that you should never do these things. However, what if there are greater forces at play here?
You might attribute this to The Law Of Attraction.
You may view it as your subconscious mind filtering your experience of reality via your Reticular Activating System.
You may not believe in this shit at all and put it down to coincidence……again!
This is how it’s played out in my life. You could call this a co-created reality.
Below, is a note that Star, my wife scribbled down around two years ago titled “What is success to you?”. After she wrote it, I don’t think she saw it again until she found it in a packed box a few weeks ago.
It reads:
"What success is to you: Lifestyle
Living in a beautiful and hot country, running a retreat which is popular, helping people with body and mind therapies. Affording the luxury of being able to travel around the world. Our children get the best education and are happy and have lots of friends and interests. Being able to support the local community in some way. Being able to support my family in having a beautiful place for them to come and visit whenever they need to. Having a loving and supportive marriage. "
At the time, we were living comfortably in a cottage in Bristol. Life was good, if a little bit boring. We were stuck in a comfortable rut and, a bit like an old sofa, it was starting to become uncomfortable.
Just not uncomfortable enough.
Luckily, a few months later, discomfort struck! I received a text from a utilities company, telling me that they were coming over to do an end of tenancy check.
“Ah, ha, ha, there must be some mistake”, I thought. We had been told that our tenancy would be going on for a long time, as the owner was living in the States in a cushy embassy job.
But NO!
He’d lost his job in a shake up and wanted to move back home.
So, we had three months to do something about it.
That night, Star and I did a bit of tapping on how we were feeling and talked about what to do next. On a whim, we decided to visit a place in Spain that we’d heard about from someone that we’d met at a health fair once. So, we booked our flights and, off we went to Orgiva.
It was amazing! A beautiful place with inspiring education options for our boy. This was what swung it for us and shortly afterwards, off we went.
So, this is our home now (for about half the price of our damp old cottage in Bristol, including bills)
We are running a beautiful retreat called Speak With Your Soul. People who came on the first one are coming back to do it again, and bringing friends and family. It looks like this!
Our son is loving his alternative school and has so many friends – the children can run wild here, with wide open space and adventure freely available.
The community feeling is amazing here. There are so many connections and most people naturally just support each other and are very sharing. This feels closer to the natural way of being. There is much less authoritarian meddling here (although it is still present) and people just get on with their lives.
In this space of appreciation, our relationship has also grown, as has our family, as our beautiful daughter was born a couple of months ago. So, this was a very welcome addition to the list (and actually a big desire for us both over the last few years.)
So, interestingly, it is my wife’s list that has “come true”. I think I’ve worked out why – and it’s opened up some awesome new possibilities for us.
I have started looking into a system called Human Design, that fits in beautifully with my work as a Tapping practitioner and Integrated META-Health Coach.
Human Design enables you to understand how you are designed to engage with the world and show you where you are susceptible to your environment's influence and conditioning. If you want to find out more about it, check out this page

Within that system, my wife is a Projector and I am a Manifesting Generator (cosmic hey?).
Very briefly, that means that she is here to guide, but does not naturally have creative energy. Apparently, it means that I have loads of creative energy and ability to manifest, but I need to be invited to do so – I need to respond.
Therefore, if she comes up with the vision, I can make it happen!
It seems like a great partnership and explains why I am so disorganised (Captain Chaos), yet still end up getting things done.
I’m really curious to see what happens if we approach life in this way. She’s just put together a new vision board with some pretty outrageous outcomes on it, so I wonder whether I’ll be able to apply my charge to that and co-create the reality that we want for our family, community and the world.
Whoops! Went off on a bit of a tangent there. However, I’m really interested in the Human Design concept and am going to explore it more, so I’ll keep you posted.
Even without that, I love the idea of writing down some heartfelt intentions and then forgetting all about them until a couple of years later, by which time, they’ve all come true.
If you want to give it a go, spend some time visioning what you want in your life and for your family, community and world. Write it down or vision board it and then put it away! See what happens if you just let your subconscious mind take charge. Let that shit go!
