While traveling somewhere in Texas Adam Kokesh was arrested today Jan 16, 2018. The first cop who stopped him seemed pretty cool and gave him a warning. The second cop however, he had pulled him over for allegedly doing 74 in a 64mph zone. It seems as if though the second cop was intent upon searching his vehicle. I should probably mention that Kokesh made mention of bitcoin to the first cop. I don't know if that at all relates to the second encounter or not.
A word to the wise though, if you get pulled over by cops, it's probably best not to bring up the topic of money, or bitcoin. They'll snatch up those assets faster than you can spit if they think they can justify a civil asset forfeiture. Not all cops, but some of them most certainly do go out of their way to initiate the state sanctioned theft mechanisms that have been put into place by your friendly local politicians. In the second video, you can see Adam Kokesh's girlfriend Stacey give everyone an update on his current situation. She seems skeptical that he would be arrested today of all days, seeing as how he just announced his 2020 bid for presidency about an hour prior to his arrest. She also points out that they found no contraband in his RV, so the details of his arrest remain unclear at this time.

I think I speak for most Steemians in wishing Adam a safe and speedy return from what seems like a very sketchy situation. As I am writing this post, this just appeared on his steemit account. It appears to be a preconceived plan in case of an emergency such as this.
UPDATE: @mrdeleted added an image in the comments with what appear to be a list of charges for Adam.
UPDATE: In the end of the first video, according to the police officer the K9 unit did alert on Adam's RV. I'd be surprised if it didn't alert seeing as how Adam's dog was in there.
