Say, "Hello", to my little friend.
I never realised how much I needed an oven mitt, until, I got myself this red oven mitt.
I irregularly do Trash N' Treasure markets.
You know, those outdoor markets where people bring there unwanted junk to find somebody who'd be willing to pay you a few sheckles for them.
One day, across from me, there was a lady who had a box marked, "Free Stuff".
There, in the box, I found this red oven mitten friend.
I looked at it, it looked at me, and we both agreed that we needed each other.
It is just one mitt. But it is the most useful mitt that I have ever owned.
Actually, I don't think I have ever owned an oven mitt.
The wonders of Trash N' Treasure markets should not be underestimated.
I saw a mother and daughter meanering around the market.
The great thing about a market is that you can haggle.
The girl came up to me and saw a girl's top that she found interesting.
This top I purchased amongst a load of clothing about 20 years ago from a store that was closing down.
This particular top sold for around $15 back in the day.
I had it for $5 (I think I paid $2.50).
The girl said, "How about $3?".
"Done!"
It was amazing that she bought a pair of shoes from a stall next to me for $5, my top for $3 and a pair of pants from another stall for $4.
It was great to see. For a measley $11 she had scored at least $60+ worth of items. A great catch.
