This is my entry for 5 Minute Freewrite Prompt: One Boot
Once a upon there was a couple living in the woods.
They ran away from the hectic and busy life in the city. And tried to find their way out in the woods. Life was not easy trying to adjust living away from the rest of the world.
First it was rain, then snow and other issues came. Then the problem of storing the food was also there. And it was kind of hard thinking how the survival would go as they approach old age.
Then slowly it began to work out for them. They got used to the slow lifestyle and also the lifestyle where things were going easy on some parts.
One day the husband goes deep in the woods. And finds something.
A boot buried deep the mud. He thinks of it as some sort of quick sand. Then realizes it's not the quicksand. But there was some sort of stuff happened that made the person leave the boot.
Husband comes home showing the boot to the wife. And she says:
"We are not alone in the woods. If there is one boot here, there must be some other folks nearby"

Well it's just a start of the story and I have so much to think further. Maybe some day I can finish this story. Maybe something into thriller or horror.
