For https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mariannewest/day-197-5-minute-freewrite-friday-prompt-flea
This is part of the freewrite, because it's happening during freewrite time, but it's just what I noticed and is unrelated to the topic... I guess, except the I am a FLEA.
Here's the thing.
Oh no, here's another thought before the last. THAT CHILD OF MINE IS ADORABLE. He's getting homemade applesauce right now. HE LOVES IT.
The other thing I was thinking about is how the checkbox to upvote one's own post is gone. I assume this was a decision made by... whales? Witnesses?
I dunno. I think that's kinda dumb. I feel like the wealthiest Steemians are making choices for the poorest Steemians and not understanding the impact it has on the newest... This seems like the wrong thing to do. The problems that Steemit has, I think, are not caused by accounts worth less than a million dollars upvoting themselves.
Anyways. Flea.
Is this the first time we've had Flea? That surprises me. I remember writing about a flea circus at some point. Was it a flea circus fleeing?
That child of mine is fleeing his food chair. He loved the food, but now he's more interested in other stuff. What a funny kid.
I need some lunch. I won't eat fleas, though. I've forgotten when I started. It's probably been 5 minutes. I can't imagine it hasn't. I didn't set an alarm this time, just glanced at the clock.
Shall I tell a very short story?
Pablo went to the flea store. He bought a flea. The flea lived a long life for a flea, but a short life for a man. Pablo cried. His tears were seen by a professional teardrop tamer. He sold them to that man. They're still performing in a circus.
Pablo's flea investment paid off in the end, but not how he imagined. The moral of the story is clear, yes? Please put it into words for me.
